Small Group Stuff
We believe that real life-change happens best in a small group setting. While Sunday Worship is for celebration, inspiration, and an enjoyable experience for guests, and the fellowship events are informal friendship gatherings, it is in the small group that we can get real and personal. This is our “Home Plate” in the baseball analogy. These are safe small groups where we discuss what it really means to follow Christ, with support, encouragement, and accountability. Below is a listing of our small groups that are currently ongoing-Check back often to see what NEW & EXCITING small groups are taking place.

Youth Redemption
Posted on Nov 28 2011 by chris

Once again, everyone had a good time at Youth Group. We started off with a difficult game of dropping clothes pins into bottles. The girls won, but we saw how tickets could be "redeemed" for candy. We then talked about how Christ "redeemed" us. Then we setup the Church Christmas Tree.
First youth lesson went great
Posted on Nov 14 2011 by chris

The first night went great! We started with Ali leading a game, then went to the back room for memory verses. We took about an hour for the actual lesson and wrap up. The kids were challenged to think of someone they have a hard time treating as a valued person made in God's image. Next week we will be askin how they implemented their specific step to treat them as such.
Fall Festival was a Great Success
Posted on Oct 29 2011 by chris

Everyone came inside out of the rain for the Fall Festival. There was fresh cotton candy being made, and kids of all ages had sticky hands and faces. After playing a game of cow-bowling, kids could dip and apple in caramel and put all sorts of wonderful condime
nts on them, like coconut, sprinkles, and chocolate chips. After playing penny toss, they could then munch on some popcorn or some baked goods. Everyone had plenty to eat, and plenty of fun. Hope to
see you next year!

The Truth About Sex
Posted on Sep 18 2011 by chris
Women will be studying the book "The Truth About Sex" by Kay Arthur
What’s the Big Deal About Sex?
Birds do it. Bees do it. And when you turn on the television, log on to the Internet, or watch a movie, you can’t help but notice that everyone else seems to be doing it too. Our culture has embraced the message that sex is just a basic bodily function, as irresistible and harmless as satisfying your hunger and thirst. But is it? Or have we bought into a lie that is rapidly corroding our souls and our society?
When it comes to sexuality, you can’t ignore the Manufacturer’s directions and escape unharmed. That’s why everyone–teen or adult, single or married–needs to know The Truth About Sex.
This compelling, interactive study provides an antidote to the world’s subtle yet insidiously dangerous lies. You’ll learn…
·why God created sex in the first place
·what happens when you don’t follow His design
·why virginity matters
·what consequences follow sex outside of marriage
·how to find healing if you’ve been harmed because you or someone else violated God’s instructions
With this knowledge comes the power to stand firm, resisting the pull of temptation. Whatever your past–whether you’ve remained sexually pure or endured the pain of misusing God’s precious gift–you’ll find your eyes opened and your life transformed as you discover for yourself The Truth About Sex.
